MY LOVE FOR SURREALISM
I hope to take the idea of “life” and “death” to another dreamlike level. By doing so, each of my pieces will include paintings, drawings, and photography.
A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
Instead of having a person holding a flower, they are growing out of the flower. They carry nature within their skin and are “one” with nature and their environment. Instead of insects crawling on the ground or on someone’s skin, the subject is interacting with the creature. The insect may look larger to scale, or may contain absurd colors as it’s perched on top the subject’s head, or growing out of it.
